Whatever the groomer did, the shirt keeps
A poodle's look is half breed and half grooming decision: the teddy-bear face or the shaved muzzle, the topknot, the ears left long or trimmed short. A stock illustration makes that choice for you. Starting from your photo, the shirt has the poodle that came home from the groomer, in its real colour.

How this coat prints
Poodles come in more solid colours than almost any breed, so picking a poodle's shirt is really picking against its coat colour. White, cream and apricot poodles glow against a dark shirt like pepper, which is also one of the four shirts Gold Name prints on. Black, brown and red poodles are the coats to think about: on a black shirt the darkest curls can drop out into the fabric on the photo presets, so ivory, the second colour shown, keeps every curl printed. Silver and blue poodles sit in the middle and suit either. The curl itself prints as fine texture, and tight, freshly trimmed curls give the camera more structure to catch than a coat that has been brushed out into fluff.
The photo to use
On a shaved-face clip the long, narrow muzzle is the breed's whole profile, so a slight three-quarter angle often reads better than dead-on, where the muzzle points straight at the lens and shortens. For a black poodle, face the dog toward a bright window: eyes and coat are nearly the same colour, and the small catchlight a window puts in each eye is what separates them. The ears hang long and close to the head, so let them fall naturally; a poodle resting its chin on something pushes them forward and the face loses its frame.
Presets that suit this dog

Cool Mom Classic's model is a small white curly-coat in a silk head scarf and pearls beside an iced matcha, and a poodle is the one dog that can wear pearls without it reading as a joke.

Gold chain, black hoodie and a neon alley: about as far from the show ring as a breed with a show-ring reputation can get, which is exactly why it works.

Gold Name draws the dog as a pale scratchboard engraving on black, and a poodle's curls turn into tight clusters of fine cream strokes, with the name in antique gold behind.
Questions
Will a toy poodle and a standard look different?
Size doesn't show much in a portrait, but proportions do, and those come from your photo — so a toy comes out looking like a toy and a standard like a standard.
Can the shirt show a show clip?
Yes — the clip is part of how your poodle looks, so it's kept. Expect the topknot, the ears and the shaved face; the pompons on the legs and hips usually fall outside the picture.
My poodle is a parti, white with apricot patches. Which shirt?
A dark one. The white areas carry a parti's outline, and white has the most contrast against a dark shirt; the apricot patches look good on almost anything.
