How Synthwave is drawn
The illustration is built on the standard synthwave furniture: a neon magenta and cyan grid horizon, a glowing purple sun with palm silhouettes cut against it, and your pet in wraparound shades and a leather jacket in front of it. The palette is deliberately narrow, which is what makes the style hold together as a single graphic rather than a collage of effects.
Which pets it suits
Dogs with strong silhouettes get the most out of it, because the neon rim-light traces the outline. Dark coats do especially well - the glow separates a black dog from the background in a way daylight never manages. The shades cover the eyes, so pick your photo for the head shape rather than the expression.

Yes. The scene is drawn from scratch, so indoor lighting in your upload is not carried over - it only needs to be a clear, sharp view of the face.
Can I combine Synthwave with a preset scene?๏ผ
You pick one or the other: a preset look supplies a scene, a style supplies a medium. Synthwave already contains its own scene, which is why it stands alone.
Is this the same as the Streetwear style?๏ผ
No. Streetwear is a screen-print graphic with heavy black outlines against a graffiti wall. Synthwave is a glowing 80s landscape. They share an attitude and nothing else.
