How Astronaut is drawn
Your pet wears a detailed spacesuit with a clear glass helmet, against a starry nebula. The helmet is the whole design problem: it must read as curved glass, catch a highlight, and stay transparent enough that the face inside is the subject rather than the reflection.
Which pets it suits
Front-facing photos, without exception. A helmet is a sphere around the head, and a three-quarter angle puts the rim across the muzzle. Medium and small breeds suit the proportions best; very long-nosed dogs sit further forward in the glass, which is usually funny rather than wrong.
Whatever the medium, identity outranks it: the generator is told never to change breed, face shape, coat colour, markings, eye colour or ears. The photo guidelines cover what to upload.
How it prints
Deep space is nearly black, so on a black shirt the nebula dissolves into the fabric and your pet appears to float unsupported on your chest - one of the best effects in the catalogue. On a pale garment you get a defined square of night sky instead, which is a cleaner and more graphic result.

No - it is drawn as clear glass with a highlight, and the face inside is the focal point. That is exactly why a front-facing upload matters here.
Is there a NASA badge or a mission patch?＋
No real agency, badge or logo appears. The suit is generic, which also keeps the print free of anyone else's trademark.
Good for a kid's gift?＋
It is the most requested style for one. Sizes start at S; the shirt is an adult-cut Comfort Colors 1717, so check the size guide before buying for a child.
