How Astronaut is drawn
The sample is a beagle in a white spacesuit with the helmet visor open, gazing upward in wonder. Behind it sit a field of small white stars, a little ringed planet in muted orange and the thin edge of a teal crescent planet, all drawn flat, and every edge of that sky breaks up into halftone dots and specks rather than stopping at a border. The dog and the suit stay photographic; only the space around them is illustrated.
Which pets it suits
Any coat and any size, because the suit is drawn to fit the pet. What matters most is a clear, evenly lit face, since the pose is a look up at the sky and the head is the only part of the dog outside the suit. Long ears and big ruffs fall naturally over the collar ring, the way the beagle's ears do in the sample, and a photo with the head slightly raised makes the upward gaze easiest to build.
Whatever the medium, identity outranks it: the generator is told never to change breed, face shape, coat colour, markings, eye colour or ears. The photo guidelines cover what to upload.
How it prints
Deep space is black, so Astronaut is made for dark shirts and keyed into them: the sky itself is never printed - the shirt is the sky - and only the stars, the planets, the suit and your pet take ink. The edges scatter into dots, so your pet appears to float on your chest with no square of night around it. Black is the deepest space; true navy reads as a bluer, softer night.

No - the visor is open, so nothing sits between your pet's face and the viewer, and the face is the focal point of the whole design. That is why a sharp, well-lit upload matters here.
Is there a NASA badge or a mission patch?＋
No real agency, badge or logo appears. The suit is generic, which also keeps the print free of anyone else's trademark.
Good for a kid's gift?＋
It suits one well, and nobody needs the joke explained. Sizes start at S; the shirt is an adult-cut Comfort Colors 1717, so check the size guide before buying for a child.
