What is in the scene
Your dog stands on a short pale-wood surfboard with an orange stripe, riding a small wave with wet fur and a happy open mouth. Behind is a big flat retro sun in orange shading to sunset red, cut by white stripes, and a curling teal wave crowned with white foam dots. It is a screen-print composition rather than a beach photo: the tail of the wave and the bottom of the sun break into halftone dots, and there is no horizon, sand or sky beyond them.
The photo that gets the best Surf Club
Because your dog is standing on the board, a photo that shows the legs and body helps more here than a tight face shot, so a standing three-quarter photo is ideal. A happy, open-mouthed photo with the head turned toward the camera suits it best. Your dog does not have to be wet or anywhere near the sea; the soaked fur and the splash are part of the design.

How it prints
Here the logic runs the other way from the dark designs: on a white shirt, the white of the artwork is the shirt. The stripes cutting through the sun and the foam dots on the wave are bare fabric, and ink goes down only where the picture is darker than the tee. White is its own shirt and the crispest; ivory warms everything toward a sun-faded vintage tee, and butter is offered too. One honest caveat: a very white dog's coat is the shirt as well, so it reads by its shadows and markings rather than as a white shape.

Does it suit an all-white dog?＋
It works, with a difference worth expecting: the brightest fur is left unprinted, so your dog is drawn by the shading and markings in the coat. A free preview is the easiest way to judge it with your own dog.
Is the sun always orange?＋
Yes. The orange-to-red sun, the teal wave and the orange stripe on the board are this design's fixed palette, whichever pale shirt you choose.
Can I get it on a black shirt?＋
Not this design. It is built for light fabric - white, ivory or butter - because its white parts are meant to be the shirt; on black they would need ink, and it would be a different print.
