Head out the window, paws on the door, and the wind doing the rest
Co-Pilot is the car-window face every dog owner has a blurry phone photo of, finally in focus. It belongs to City Nights, and it is the one design in the catalogue with a car in it, even if all you see of the car is the top of a door.

What is in the scene
Your dog leans out of an open car window, head and both front paws over the edge, fur pushed back by the wind. Under the paws is only the top of a cherry-red car door with chrome window trim; there is no road, no sky and no driver. Bold flat speed lines in cream, teal and cherry red stream backward past the head, and toward the back of the car the red paintwork breaks up into halftone dots, so the door fades out instead of ending.
The photo that gets the best Co-Pilot
Joy is the point, so give the design a happy, open-mouthed photo to work from rather than the polite sitting one - tongue out is a bonus. Pick a shot where both ears are visible and the face is turned toward the camera or slightly to one side, the way a dog looks into the wind. You do not need a photo taken in a car; a bright garden or park photo works better than a dim one through a car window.
The full list is on the photo guidelines page - good light, face visible, one pet, and nothing covering the eyes.
How it prints
Co-Pilot is drawn for a black shirt. The speed lines are separate strokes of ink with bare fabric between them, the black behind your dog is simply the tee, and the halftone tail of the door is where the print dissolves into the shirt - there is no rectangle anywhere. On true navy it becomes a night drive: the cherry red and the cream still pop, and anything darker than the navy, a dark coat included, takes on the shirt's own colour.
The preview lets you switch between every shirt colour this design is offered in, so you can compare them before you decide.

Co-Pilot questions
What kind of car is it?＋
None in particular. Only the top of a cherry-red door and its chrome trim are drawn, with no badge, logo or model to identify.
My dog hates car rides. Does that matter?＋
Not at all. The window, the door and the wind are drawn around your dog from an ordinary photo, so nobody has to get in a car.
Why is it only offered on dark shirts?＋
Because it is keyed: on a dark tee the black of the artwork is left unprinted and the shirt shows through. A light shirt would need a file built the other way round, and this design was made for the dark one.
